When hubby came home last night he noticed a very dark wet spot bubbling up out of the ground…unfortunately it was not that bubbling crude often referred to as black gold. But water…we had a leak in the main water line between the shutoff valve and the water meter. Necessitating turning off the main and leaving us with no water while he fixed the line.
Even though, we filled the coffee pot, kettle, some pans as well as our bath tub before the water was turned off. It was amazing how many times we each needed/wanted water from the tap. Days like these made us realize how very lucky we are to have “running water.” Yet, like so many we will adjust quickly and go right back to taking our plumbing for granted
