Homemade Jerky

Today I am making beef jerky. I received a really tasty recipe from my friend Rita, thank you Rita. This will be my second time to use the recipe. Although, the directions stated to use an oven I used our dehydrator instead. I left it in a little too long creating a crispy but very tasty jerky. I have since learned another tip – slightly freeze the meat before I cut it, this made slicing the meat a lot easier. Today I’ll shorten the time allotted in the dehydrator and hopefully it will turn out just perfect.
