Those Irish Roots…

I’ve had a terrible time researching those Irish roots. Seems my maternal Grand Father just dropped off of the face of the earth. All we know of him, is he left Ireland, broken-hearted, after his beloved wife died of TB. There are no records of him since. His parents, my maternal Great Grand Parents, are listed on his marriage certificate. There it stopped until yesterday…on the census listed as the Mother-in-law to my Great Grand Father is another name. Having another “Sir Name” allows the search to continue down another path of our family’s historical trials and tribulations. This link gives me the hope that I will find out more about that Irish family, where they lived, what type of work they did, their religious beliefs, and more.
