I was invited to join the group “Daily Challenge” whose object is to promote positive thinking and healthier living. Each day I receive an email with a daily challenge that is a gentle reminder on how to achieve a more positive and healthier lifestyle. Nothing is ever too strenuous or outlandish. Just tries to steer your thought pattern or add something to your daily routine than encourages a more positive healthier you. Today’s challenge was one that I particularly enjoyed.
Writing a letter to one’s self. “Write a note from your future self to your current self, and describe what you’ve accomplished.” I wrote: “Becoming more sustainable and living a healthier lifestyle was easier than first thought. Stuck to our goal of purchasing a piece of land with a creek in the back. In an area that rained enough to have a huge year round garden, pasture land enough for two goats, and two horses. Canning and de-hyrdrating our own food. Milking our own goats and learning to make our own cheese, was well worth the move.”
Now that I have thought a little more about the opportunity to write such a letter and how good it made me feel. I would add – Our children saw how productive our new lifestyle was tht they too joined us in the realization, that wealth is your Health of mind, spirit, and body. They too now live close by with their families.
Positive Thinking…Makes things happen….I’m staying Positive. According to Daily Challenge: Research has shown that positive thinking leads to positive results, and that just thinking about success can make success happen! It’s easy to think something is out of reach, but telling yourself you’ve already succeeded at something makes it feel real before you begin. Positive thinking has shown to increase a person’s life span, give people better coping skills in times of stress, and even give them more resistance to the common cold.
