Wheat pancakes from scratch…

This morning I made some homemade wheat pancakes for breakfast. They were easy to make and turned out very well. I added a bit more milk than the recipe required as we like our pancakes thinner than most. Next time I’ll add a 1/2 cup more milk and make them a bit thinner. Although, the texture was very good. They were light and tasty. Here’s the recipe if you would like to try making your own:

Wheat Pancakes:
Sift all dry ingredients together
2 cups of wheat flour
2 teaspoons of baking powder
1/2 teaspoon of salt

Whisked together wet ingredients then add to dry and mix well.
2 well beaten eggs
2 cups of milk (I used 21/2 cups)
1 teaspoon of vanilla
2 Table spoons of vegetable oil

Cook on cast iron griddle or your frying pan.
