Blooming Crocus

Today is February 8th, 2012 mid winter and as you can see in the photo the Crocus’ in our yard have budded and are ready to bloom. They normally burst into color in the spring. I have no idea what color ours are going to be since the Crocus comes in a variety of colors from a vivid yellow to passionate purple. It’s not just our Crocus’ that are about to bloom, it’s happening all over Rutherford County, NC. Here’s hoping the weather holds out and lets them bloom.
