The Daffodil Bloomed

On our walk today we saw our first Daffodil of the season. All though there was only one lonely flower, there are a lot of plants. The walk along side our neighbor’s property is full of them. It’s really going to look beautiful in a week or two.
It’s supposed to be down to 32*F tonight. But the weather forecasts show freezing temps for the next five night. They are expecting Saturday night to get down to 22*F I hope that the Daffodils can survive that. The day time temps should range to high 40’s and mid 50’s so hopefully the evening temps don’t drop too low. Daffodils can survive down to 30*F. I’ve also learned that they are toxic and neither Deer nor Rodents will eat them.
