Linville Falls are nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains in North Carolina. We hiked the Park’s trail to a small landing that felt like a crow’s nest to the falls. The view was spectacular we were able to see where the twin falls began and watched as the water twisted and turned around the rock formations heading towards another fall. We hiked up a second trail to see the single fall from another vantage point where we watched the water complete its journey down to the Linville Gorge. The view was even more spectacular than the first.
Hiking up and down the trails wore Hubby and I out but the Grand boy was tireless.
This time of year the trees are budding, leafing, and leaving their dormant world behind. We enjoyed a wonderful spring day with our son, daughter-in-law and grandson.
