Pearson’s Falls and Garden

Today we went to Pearson’s Falls which is a private waterfall located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. It’s on property owned and maintain by Tryon Garden club. Who, according to the volunteers, bought the property in 1931 to preserve its unique botanical diversity as well the 90 ft waterfall. The fall was named after Captain Pearson who bought the “Glen” for his family in 1876.
