Polkville Rodeo Night

Once a month there is a Church Sponsored Rodeo held in various counties, in North Carolina. This is the second one we’ve attended. No beer at rodeos seems so odd, but honestly it’s a real family event. Tonight, the rodeo committee had all the children come into the arena and they did a bubble gum drop, from an older single engine plane. The plane flew over the arena twice emptying a bag of bubble gum tied to little parachutes  that drifted down to the children. During half time they had all the children 10 and under try to catch a greased pig…that was hilarious. Later on four teams of  three young ladies competed in the calf dressing contest….Lots of Laughs.
