Pepper Plant Rescued

On June 21st Hubby taped up, using blue paint tape, this pepper plant. Its stem was broken almost completely across with only a fine string remaining. Today, the 17th of July, I took a picture of the pepper plant still thriving. Not only is it surviving it’s actually producing fruit! I’m sure it healed like a grafted tree does, although, I really didn’t expect it to live. I’m glad it did and it’s even producing bell peppers for us.
If you look really close at the picture you’ll see the blue tape on the stem, and the bell pepper.
